The challenge
Create an ebook marketplace platform for a non-profit organization where multiple book sellers can register, create vendor accounts, upload and sell their ebooks, manage inventory and pricing, receive payments — while also integrating donation functionality to support the NGO’s mission. The platform needed multi-vendor management, subscription options for vendors, and seamless e-commerce experience for customers.
The solution
Developed multi-vendor marketplace using WordPress, Elementor Pro, and WooCommerce with multi-vendor extensions. Implemented vendor registration and account management system where sellers can upload ebooks, set pricing, and manage their storefronts. Integrated WooCommerce Subscriptions for vendor membership tiers, added donation functionality with multiple payment options, and created separate checkout flows for ebook purchases and charitable donations.
